Seminar on “Research Trends in Chemistry for Innovation and Technology Toward Sustainable Development”

On March 12, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, a seminar titled "Research Trends in Chemistry for Innovation and Technology Toward Sustainable Development" was held at the FuNTech Meeting Room, Science and Technology Park Building, Walailak University.

The seminar featured distinguished speakers:

1. Professor Dr. Sanong Ekekit, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, who is a National Outstanding Researcher (2008) and an expert with the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). He delivered an insightful lecture on “Advancements in Nanomaterials and Metal Nanoparticles: Synthesis and Applications.”

2. Associate Professor Dr. Pakorn Opaprakasit, from the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT) and the Center of Excellence in Functional Advanced Materials Engineering (CoE FAME), Thammasat University. He shared his expertise on “Research and Development of Bioplastics and Chemical Recycling Processes for Sustainable Development under the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy Model.”

The seminar provided a valuable platform for lecturers, researchers, and students to gain new knowledge and perspectives on advancing research projects toward successful outcomes. It also fostered opportunities for building strong collaborative networks in the field of chemistry and sustainable innovation.
